Communication regarding pay
Our CEO, Terri Sabella, has sent a communication regarding pay raises to all HealthPoint Team members. You can read it below:
A Letter from our CEO regarding pay
Dear Team,
I hope this message finds you well. As we navigate through the evolving landscape of our organization, I wanted to take a moment to address our ongoing efforts regarding pay for performance and provide some updates on our current situation.
Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for the dedication and hard work each of you has shown, especially during times of unprecedented change. Your commitment to our shared mission has not gone unnoticed, and it continues to drive us forward.
Over the past year, we made significant investments totaling approximately $1.2 million annually to enhance our compensation structure, recognizing the importance of fair and competitive pay for all team members. However, as many of you know, we are currently facing a financial challenge due to decreased patient visits. This unexpected circumstance has made it difficult for us to implement raises as originally planned. While we’ve seen a dip in revenues due to a decrease in patient visits recently, it’s important to emphasize that we remain in a solid financial position overall. Despite the unexpected decrease in patient visits affecting our finances, we’re proactively managing the situation while keeping transparency at the forefront of our communication.
In light of this challenge, we are exploring alternative approaches to recognize and reward your contributions. One option under consideration is the implementation of bonuses based on achieving specified targets. While this is not intended to fully replace traditional raises, it allows us to acknowledge and incentivize high performance in a tangible way.
We are actively listening to feedback regarding the bonus plan and making necessary adjustments. The insights provided have been invaluable in helping us refine and improve the plan to better meet the needs of our team. While it may not be perfect initially, it represents a step forward in recognizing the efforts of our high-performing individuals.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to reevaluating our compensation structure as our financial situation improves. Our goal is to ensure that any future changes are sustainable and reflect our commitment to fair and equitable pay.
In addition to addressing our compensation approach, we are implementing strategies to enhance our financial stability, including adjustments to staffing and initiatives to improve teamwork and increase patient volume.
Our goal is to finalize a bonus plan that aligns with performance metrics and reflects our renewed focus on achieving organizational success by the end of 1st Quarter 2024 (3/31/2024). We will keep you updated on any developments and provide detailed information on the bonus plan as soon as it is available.
In closing, I want to thank you for your patience, resilience, and unwavering dedication to HealthPoint and its mission. Your contributions are truly appreciated, and together, I am confident that we will overcome the challenges before us and emerge stronger than ever.
Warm regards,
Terri Sabella and your HealthPoint Senior Leadership Team
