Meet Provider Katherine Ahlstrom, DNP, CNM

Katherine Ahlstrom, DNP, CNM, joined the HealthPoint team in August of 2022.  She is excited to grow the list of happy, healthy patients.

Education:

Katherine grew up on a ranch in the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University in 2012. During her nine-year labor and delivery nursing career, Katherine drove best practices and ensured high-quality patient outcomes. She was a finalist for the Women’s Health March of Dimes award in 2019. With a strong desire to further impact Women’s Health, she obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Washington.

Professional Career:

Katherine’s nursing background and experiences with pregnancy, childbirth, and Women’s Health have driven her to provide the highest quality patient care. She offers compassionate, competent, evidence-based Women’s Health Care, specializing in obstetrics and prenatal care, family planning, gynecology, and menopause treatment. Katherine is excited to join HealthPoint in the mission to bring evidence-based, collaborative, high-quality care to Brazos Valley.

When she isn’t in the clinic, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and puppy Duke enjoying all that Aggieland offers. She enjoys paddleboarding, biking, coaching volleyball, and attending sporting events! Katherine is an active member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal nurses.
