Welcome to HealthPoint Rockdale & Hearne Clinics – Meet Dr. Isaiah Logan!
We are excited to have Dr. Isaiah Logan, MD, on the team at HealthPoint Rockdale and Hearne Clinics! Originally planning a career in teaching and coaching, Dr. Logan’s path changed when he experienced the loss of several family members. This moment reminded him of the impact of healthcare, inspiring him to pursue medicine and help others live healthier lives.
Education
Dr. Logan earned multiple degrees along his journey to medicine:
- Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Texas A&M University
- Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences – Texas A&M University
- Master of Science in Biology (Medical Sciences) – Mississippi College
- Doctorate of Medicine (MD) – University of Kansas
He then completed his Family Medicine Residency at Waco Family Medicine in Waco, TX.
Professional Career
Dr. Logan has had the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings. His experience includes:
✔ Hospital and clinic settings
✔ Serving Native American Reservations
✔ Providing care during the pandemic
✔ Working in remote Alaska – a rewarding experience where he worked in both clinic and hospital settings
While he still works remotely with the Alaska team, he is now focused on serving patients in Rockdale and Hearne through HealthPoint.

Dr. Logan is from Cameron, TX, and was excited to return to his home area a few years ago. When the opportunity at HealthPoint opened in late 2023, he knew it was the perfect fit.
“Since starting in medicine, I’ve always wanted to serve rural and underserved populations. HealthPoint allows me to provide great care to people who may not always have easy access to healthcare. Plus, having spent part of my childhood in Rockdale, it feels good to serve a community I have a personal connection with.”

Outside of work, Dr. Logan loves spending time with family and friends. He’s a sports fanatic and enjoys attending games and concerts whenever he can. He also loves to travel and stay involved in the community through various organizations.
Even though he chose medicine, his passion for coaching, teaching, and mentoring remains strong.
