Meet Dr. Hasan Adnan, MD – Pediatric Medical Director at HealthPoint – Memorial Clinic
Dr. Hasan Adnan is a board-certified pediatrician who specializes in: ADHD and behavioral health support, preventive pediatric care, and newborn through adolescent medicine. He has over 30 years of clinical and academic experience in children’s health. He brings a deep commitment to community-centered care, medical education, and improving health outcomes for children from birth through adolescence.
Born and educated in Pakistan, Dr. Adnan earned his medical degree before moving to the United States. He then pursued pediatric residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Next, he served as Chief Resident and completed a fellowship in General Pediatrics, sharpening his expertise in the full spectrum of pediatric medicine.
His early clinical years were marked by a dedication to both hands-on patient care and academic excellence. His pursuits include teaching future physicians as an Associate Professor at the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
For over two decades, Dr. Adnan practiced in both hospital and outpatient settings, managing everything from newborn care and developmental milestones to complex pediatric conditions. His approach is family-focused, evidence-based, and deeply compassionate.
“Pediatrics is rewarding detective work,” he says. “Children often can’t explain what’s wrong, so I work with families to uncover the issue. Seeing them return to their normal selves—that’s the most satisfying part of my job.”

Now serving as Pediatric Medical Director at HealthPoint, Dr. Adnan sees patients at the Memorial Clinic in Bryan. His decision to join HealthPoint was driven by a passion for community-based medicine and ensuring that all children—regardless of background—have access to quality care. He’s excited to bring leadership, mentorship, and decades of experience to a team that shares his values.
Outside of work, Dr. Adnan enjoys photography, travel, and exploring global cuisines. He especially loves capturing landscapes and city scenes on his travels, and he’s always in search of the next best spot for a great meal.
