Your Right to Know
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your health care will cost.
Under the law, health care organizations are required to give patients who do not have insurance, or who are not using their insurance, an estimate of the cost for medical items and services before those services are provided.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

The Good Faith Estimate will be generated for appointments scheduled a minimum of 3 business days prior to the visit.

You may request a Good Faith Estimate from HealthPoint prior to scheduling an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
