Meet Dr. Amol Deshpande, MD – Pediatrician at HealthPoint – Trinity Clinic
Since he arrived, Dr. Amol Deshpande has cared for his community’s children like no other. Moving here from Michigan nearly 20 years ago, Dr. Deshpande has had the amazing opportunity to care for the children of some of his original patients. Born into a family of doctors (4th generation), Dr. Deshpande is more than qualified to address the sensitive needs of a child’s health.
Dr. Amol Deshpande, MD, FAAP, trained at Henry Ford Health System Case Western Reserve University in Detroit, Michigan, where he served as the chief resident in pediatrics. After completing his residency, he further specialized in pediatric allergy/immunology at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
Dr. Amol then opened a pediatric practice in Trinity, Texas, and for more than 23 years, Dr. Deshpande had a successful, thriving medical clinic. He joined The Children’s Clinic in 2023. He is board-certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Deshpande values the opportunity to care for children and families in a close-knit community. After serving families in Trinity for more than 20 years, HealthPoint allows him to continue building trusted relationships while helping children receive quality care close to home.
For Dr. Deshpande, pediatrics is about more than treating illness. It is about supporting children as they grow, helping parents feel confident, and being a steady partner for families through every stage of childhood. Dr. Deshpande and his wife, Dr. Pratibha Deshpande, have two children who are both training to be physicians.
