Meet Ashley Richardson, FNP-C – Family Nurse Practitioner at HealthPoint – Hearne Clinic
Ashley Richardson, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who serves patients at HealthPoint’s Hearne Clinic in Hearne, Texas. Ashley has always had a heart for healthcare and is dedicated to helping her patients feel their best.
Ashley knew she wanted to work in healthcare from a young age. When she was just four years old, her mom had the flu, and Ashley stepped up as her “personal nurse”—and she never looked back.
She started her nursing journey at Blinn College Vocational Nursing-Brenham, where she became an LVN in 2013. She then earned her Registered Nurse – Associate Degree in Nursing from Lone Star College-North Harris. After that, Ashley completed her RN-BSN at the University of Texas at Arlington and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C).
Ashley has a strong background in geriatrics, wound care, and psychiatry. She began her career as a Charge Nurse, later becoming a Wound Care Coordinator at Brenham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She then worked as a Registered Nurse Case Manager with Sevita Health Services, where she partnered with the local MHMR Authority to support medical and psychiatric care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Ashley first experienced HealthPoint during a clinical rotation with Christi Robbins, WHNP, and knew it was the right place for her.

When Ashley isn’t seeing patients, she loves spending time with her husband, their seven children, and her granddaughter (who sweetly calls her Nonna!). Her kids are student-athletes, so you’ll often find her cheering them on at basketball, football, and softball games.
