Meet Dr. Daniel Quan, DO – Family Medicine Physician at HealthPoint – Trinity Clinic
Dr. Daniel L. Quan, DO, is a dedicated family medicine physician at HealthPoint–Trinity, offering comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in the Trinity and surrounding areas. A Trinity native, Dr. Quan is excited to serve the community that welcomed him, following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Lawrence Quan, a physician at this same HealthPoint location.
Medical Training: Dr. Quan graduated from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2021. He is a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine, providing care that spans every stage of life—from pediatric health to the management of adult chronic conditions.
He combines his deep local roots with modern medical training to deliver compassionate, patient-focused care.
Dr. Quan provides family medicine care for patients of all ages, including children, adults, and older adults. His experience includes care in clinics, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities, giving him a strong understanding of diverse patient needs.
Before joining HealthPoint, Dr. Quan practiced family medicine in Trinity and completed his residency at Dignity Health Northridge Family Medicine Residency in California. During residency, he served as co-chief resident, showing his commitment to leadership, teamwork, and patient care.
Dr. Quan is also involved in medical education as an associate faculty member at the Sam Houston Family Medicine Residency, where he supports and teaches future family medicine physicians.
Dr. Quan was raised in Trinity and understands the health needs of the local community. As the son of a longtime local physician, he carries forward a trusted family legacy and is proud to use his talents to serve HealthPoint patients.
Dr. Quan’s connection to Trinity goes beyond medicine. He has a meaningful connection to the community and a strong history of service, leadership, and volunteer work. From earning the rank of Eagle Scout to helping with community projects, Dr. Quan has long valued giving back and making a positive difference.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Quan has enjoyed tennis, music, and working with students and young people through coaching, tutoring, and volunteer activities. He is proud to serve the people and families of Trinity through compassionate, patient-focused care.
