Garrett Gomez, MD, is a Family Medicine Physician serving patients at HealthPoint’s Madisonville Clinic. He is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care while building lasting relationships with patients in a rural community that reminds him of where he grew up.
Dr. Gomez was drawn to medicine through his love of science and fascination with the human body, particularly musculoskeletal anatomy and sports medicine. Today, he enjoys the lifelong learning that medicine provides while caring for patients of all ages in a close-knit rural community.
As part of HealthPoint’s partnership with Texas A&M College of Medicine, Dr. Gomez is helping establish the new rural family medicine training program in Madisonville. He is proud to serve the community while helping build a strong foundation for future generations of family physicians.

Dr. Gomez is a third-generation Aggie and enjoys spending time with his wife, Brenna, a dentist in Bryan. Together, they love cheering on Aggie football, traveling, skiing, golfing, working out, trying new restaurants, and spending time with their golden retriever and black lab.
